Re: XEvil 4.0 free demo

Thank you to our "The Podcast Forum" host for quickly removing the aforementioned potential security threat. I hope that no one visited that site, since the probability was you'd now have a breach in your own computer security if you did. Once again, thanks for your fast action!

Re: XEvil 4.0 free demo

I'm no expert, and hardly competent, with computers and/or software. However, I believe this Xevil 4.0 free demo is, and please correct me if I wrong, another stupid attempt at monkeying up security protections in one's software or computer. If I am correct, I now ask the hosts of this site to pleas...

Re: Electro-Voice Ultimate Microphone Shoot Out

I agree. The Re27 with your voice, with those settings and in that environment outshines the rest. It's so interesting that when you hear the same mics in other various tests, how the results will come out different. Thanks for the comparison test.

Re: Triton Fethead vs Cloudlifter

It was a roller coaster ride of emotions for 5 days, wondering if we'd be okay at my house. Then after 25 inches of rain, they announced we'd get 25 inches more. At that time I just knew we would flood and kind of got in a funk about potentially losing so much. Lucky, we did not flood, however we di...

Re: Triton Fethead vs Cloudlifter

Thanks Scott! I kinda just wanted a little reinforcement, to the opinion that I have pretty much settled on. I appreciate your input and the first reply from you was sweeter, that you are a fellow Texan... just down the road from me (be it, a very long road). I just found out about the db upgrade to...

Triton Fethead vs Cloudlifter

For the longest time, as I've been getting my gear together, I pretty well had decided on the Cloudlifter over the Fethead. One of the main reasons is that the Cloudlifter had 25db clean gain over Fethead's 20db. My audio chain will be: Dynamic mics to my Behringer Qx2442USB mixer, with a Behringer ...

Re: using a Zoom H6 at a convention

If you have several several different mics in your arsenal, before deciding which one to use, I'd test to see how each one handles "Handling noise". If you don't own the Sennheiser MD46 (which is made for it as are some others), the Shure SM58 is noted for low handling noise. With others mention in ...

Re: Lost in a sea of confusion!

It appears that there may be many correct ways to go about this, depending on what you and your podcast needs are. A simple chart would be most welcome to the beginning podcaster. Comprised of potential "Best Ways". First of all: Are you going to montenize, if so, will you have a website, and if so ...

Re: What's up friends!

Welcome Craig, I'm looking forward to listening to a few of your shows. I am working on getting my show going currently, but am still several months away from having it ready for the air. The reason I what to hear your show is it's in a similar vein as my show will be, about two wheels. However, min...

******Latest Update******: I have gotten a more definitive answer to my Blubrry PowerPress Sites Deluxe question from the kind Daniel J. Lewis. As a newbie still trying to get the foundation right for my non-techie skills, I'm trying to get more of a one-stop location for my hosting, security and up...
