I've noticed in recent months a lot of people are enjoying Zoom.us and I'm trying to understand why. Originally I heard several podcasts where they used samples from a Zoom recording and the audio was noticeably degraded.
Seeing the buzz I thought I'd try it myself and I was just disappointed with the experience. I had to install desktop software, and eve on HD mode, it sounded not very good. Is there a feature I'm just missing that is making everyone like this? I'm asking because at this point I can't recommend the service, but I'm hoping y'all can help enlighten me.

Re: Why does everyone like Zoom.us?
The reason Zoom.us has bad audio quality is that it is 32 khz. But the quality is not terrible, so It would work great for a round table with everybody recording their own audio.
