I am looking into building a rackmount for podcasting and am getting really lost on both the best setup and how to set it up. First question is how do you set up an interface, mixer, preamp, eq, and compressor? I am at a loss of connecting them in a rackmount setup. Which goes first and which goes last? What should I connect to what in what order to reduce noise and feedback? I have an alright setup now, but a rack setup is a different animal.
Second question is my list of items I am looking at a waste and are there better options?
I appreciate any and all feedback.
